Medical Device Establishment License (MDEL)
To distribute and sell face masks and surgical masks, it is always best to purchase from a company that has their own MDEL. This MDEL allows Goodstuff Market Inc. to distribute masks in Canada.
We also have the MDEL that identifies who manufacturers these masks, their location, and certifies that they have approval from Health Canada to manufacture and distribute. This is important to you because you know that there is accountability and transparency when it comes to these masks.
Test Reports from Reputable Institutions
Our masks have been tested multiple times by different institutions in North America. Although interpreting this information may be difficult, here are the key things you need to know:
- The masks are tested by reputable labs in North America. The results are genuine and accurate.
- The masks are tested under ASTM parameters (American Society for Testing and Materials) and have passed the necessary requirements for levels 2 and level 3
- The ASTM level of a face mask is linked to four indicators: bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE) differential pressure (mmHg), sub-micron particulate filtration efficiency (PFE), resistance to penetration by synthetic blood, and flammability (Flame spread)
- Our masks have met all the necessary requirements to pass Level 2 requirements, and our Level 3 Surgical masks have met their requirements. The surgical respirator masks (FN) have met their requirements as well.
